actually i’m already back on Tuesday evening.What took me so long to blog is because my computer was being fixed again.

When going there the plane i took was Valueair. The biggest regret was that i didn’t bring along any camera or my hp charger so i couldn’t take alot of pictures.The next time i go overseas, i must bring along a camera because the view of the clouds and sky while taking flight was beautiful!

After a few minutes in the sky,the window glass is chilled because of the cooler atmosphere as we got higher and the clouds i kind of expect it to be chill too.

The plane we took back was Jetstar.

We did not check into any hotel.Most commonly, Singaporeans will check into Hotel Asia.But we heard stories of how haunted the place was.So we check into a guesthouse instead.Which i gladly encourage tourist to go to.

Krit Thai Mansion
Is just next to MRT and a walking distance to Siam Paragon And MBK, the 2 very good shopping centre.The guesthouse can be comparable to hotel, and they are part restaurant too.The food is good and the people there are always smiling.

Eating at the guesthouse.See?They still serve coke in bottled form.How nostalgic.btw their Tom Yam soup is superb.

And yes they have Paragon (Siam Paragon) and i tell you why theirs so so much better than Singapore’ Paragon.

• their departmental stores is super huge and sell many many varieties of clothes,bags, shoes..etc..
• alot of branded shops like Mac,Dior,Hermes..etc…
• Ocean World is just below at B1.
• The foodcourt looks almost a restaurant.They have tissue boxes and toothpicks on every table.They have alot of cleaners around to clean up tables quickly and they are all youngsters instead of old aunties likes ours.
• Its supermarket is super huge even with a sushi bar in the middle of it.The fruits there are neatly packed.Eg durians, each flesh are meticulously wrapped in paper so that when you eat it, won’t dirty your fingers.And they have a pet shop inside with wide array of pets ornaments and doog clothes.
• best of all the shopping centre items are still affordable

MBK shopping centre
is super huge with so many shops that you can’t shop finish in 1 day.We had to go back the next day and still can’t shop finish.They have lots of clothing stores that Singapore don’t have and it great for working people because they can buy alot of their working clothes there whether is it formal or casual formal.My cousin wants to go next year because she bought her’s from Iora and she complained that everyone wears the same as her.

But their Giordano clothes cost more than Singapore’s.

We went to Chinatown,Chachuchak,Patpong, these night markets.

Chinatown items were ok but its hard to bargain.

Chachuchak weekend market is very famous for its over 7000 stalls which you can’t finish walking it.Sells lots of great items from household ornaments to shoes and clothes.Can do alot of bargaining.But its terribly humid and crowded.Not for someone with claustrophobia.

Patpong is famously known for selling genuine fake branded goods.To tell the truth, i don’t like it there,nothing fancy me.And its a red light district.You can see young teenage girls younger than me dress scantily and dragging american tourist into the club.also saw some gay clubs as well.

How we travel
We took MRT, just next to us,very convienient and cheap.MRT alot like Singapore’s but i think their inside is poshier than ours.

We took taxi as well and mind you they don’t charge by the meter.They switch off the meter and just name the price.Some are awfully friendly.And the taxi are in many colors.Yellow,blue,red,orange even pink.

Security
Security there i can say is safer than Malaysia and even Singapore.Just the street alone they have many traffic police blowing they irritating whistles.Some at MRT station walking around.Some in shopping centres.Even before you enter  and leave the shopping centre.You have to go through screening and checking of bags at entrance.

Road
Everyday almost every hour there will be jams.Because its quite cheap to afford a car in Bangkok.Thats why the many traffic police.And the people there are crazy drivers.They can just make U turn anywhere they like.And supposedly 2 lanes will become 1 lane.Its like they drive their own rules.But no accidents so to say they are superbly skilled drivers.But the jam is terrible.

Currency
If you’re going to Thailand, change your money during weekdays especially Monday or Tuesday because the rate is more.It gets very low on weekends.s$1 is equivalent to 22.7 baht.I changed $100 i got about 2,266 baht.

Shopping
Watson there price is really low.Like in Singapore DFS i saw the price of a makeup about $30. At Bangkok Watson is half the price.Lots of Singaporeans go to Bangkok every 6 mths to buy makeups because is very cheap there.

What i’ve bought

Makeup total coost around s$30.The eyelash curler is battery operated,even the battery i bought from there is in Winnie the pooh and Eeyore design!I bought perfume which cost around s$22.A pair of sunnies at Chatchuchak.Anna Sui walet and handphone pouch.And the hello kitty decal i pasted on my luggage.Bought 5 t-shirts,2 skirts and a shorts there.Spent a little over $200.

Ocean World
Is just below at Siam Paragon.Its super super super nice.10 times nicer than our Underwater World.They have all kinds of marine life.And every tank they meticulously design it until its so picturesque.The ticket cost around s$30 or less.We got free boat ride around the top of the underwater world with guide to explain the creatures,free drinks and free entry to watch 3d Max theatre Pirates show which is also showing in Singapore.

Around the end of the walk in there there’s these very mysterious and eerie room.With all the dried preserved marine creatures inside orbs.Some were named, some where labeled as unknown.Really they look like some prehistoric animals. And the red glow to the room kind of feels like Ripley’s Believe or Not. The orbs give a Harry Potter feel. The next room is quite chilly because its a big ice slab, inside is a giant squid with some fishes frozen in it as well.I kinda thought its a fake one but when i walk to the back of it, some staffs were going in and out of the backroom wearing thick winter clothings and its looks like a freezer inside.

The super huge crab and lobster.I’m sure everyone who sees them were thinking the same way.How good they are going to be on sashimi platter.

Look at how meticulous they design the tank,with disco orb balls and hanging ornaments.

This is a real car.They turned it into a fish tank with real fishes.

This is a fridge.Likewise with real fishes.

Real microwave with cupnoodle inside.With real goldfish in it.

Real washing machine with real goldfishes inside.Amazing.

Seaturtles

the underwater world.

I touched a real snake there too.And the feeling is so soft kind of like clothes.I even touched the starfishes and sea cucumber.They feel very velvet.

Dunkin doughnuts!!!!

Their shop is a cafe like.Unlike Singapore, the people there don’t queue for doughnuts.guess they weren’t as crazy as us.

Look at the generous amount of jam!

The poeple there are quite good-looking.Especially the Thai Chinese.They look more like Japanese! And their school uniform is super nice.Japanese style uniform with school briefcase.And the people there knows how to dress up.Unlike Singapore.They dress up for every occasion.

As we have TV in our rooms, i kept watching their dramas.I love watching their dramas because of the good actors and the storyline is pretty fresh to me.And lots of humour inject in it.I almost wanted to buy their drama vcd.And their advertisements are wickedly funny.every 10 advertisements, 9 are funny.Which makes its so fun to watch TV,And their advertisements are not corny or serious, fun and you just don’t know what to expect next.

my new big big sunnies!!!

This week i only worked 2 days, i didn’t work these weekend because i really need to rest.Since 3 tempt staffs left, their work all pile up on me. those that i never done before also give me do.Had to learn the programs in one day and finish up the pile.Almost had to do OT on friday.thank god Monday new staff coming.Also a girl from TP.

I left with 2 weeks, my supervisor expect me to work for 14 days straight.

I got to enjoy my only Sunday left.
